Harry Papadopoulos, DDS, MDPapadopolus, Harry 2010

Dr. Harry Papadopoulos obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Papadopoulos is licensed in both dentistry and medicine.

He completed his general surgery internship at Westchester Medical Center and his oral & maxillofacial surgery residency at Lincoln Medical Center in New York. In 2004, he completed a fellowship at Emory University which concentrated on orthognathic and TMJ surgery. In 2005 he completed a fellowship in cleft and craniofacial surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2006, he became board certified in oral & maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Papadopoulos moved to Indiana in 2007 to become residency director of the Indiana University Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program, a title he held from 2007-2010. He is very proud of his time there, having trained over a dozen residents who have gone on to find success in the field. In addition, he lectured locally and nationally as well as produced several publications in journals and textbooks. Prior to moving to Indiana, he was an associate professor at the University of Tennessee in Memphis from 2005-2007.

In 2011, Dr. Papadopoulos took over Richmond Oral Surgery Associates, in Richmond, the former practice of Dr. Bob Hall; and in 2013, he and Dr. Chris Kinney took over the former practice of Dr. Russell Beckett in Muncie and New Castle. In 2016, Dr.’s Kinney and Papadopoulos moved the Muncie office from the old Wheeling Avenue location to the current location at 3700 N. Briarwood Lane. After practicing together for over ten years, Dr. Kinney retired from ECIOMS and currently practices in his Anderson office.

Dr. Papadopoulos has staff privileges at Reid Hospital in Richmond where he performs elective cases. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife of over 25 years and their two daughters.
